The Benefits of Having a Second Photographer For Your Wedding

When booking a wedding photographer and choosing your package, an important choice that you will have to make is having one or two photographers for your wedding day. While there are some cases that you will only need one photographer, there are lots of added benefits to having a second photographer there as well.

If you have a large (150+) guest list, we always recommend having a second photographer. One of our goals on the wedding day is to capture photos of your guests celebrating your wedding with you and with a big guest count and only one photographer, we just can’t get to everyone!

If your getting ready spaces are far apart and you want both of you to be photographed getting ready, this is the perfect case for adding a second photographer. One photographer for each of you and no rush for the photographer to jump between two places in the morning!

Last but not least, if you have a tight timeline, two photographers are a must. One can be getting detail photos of dresses, suits, invitations, and florals while the other is photographing some of the getting ready. Being able to be efficient throughout the day will be essential to keeping your wedding day on time and rolling smoothly!
